Going to the beach in the North of Portugal is unpredictable, either you can have a wonderful sunny day or a foggy and windy day. So, check ahead the weather forecast. Here you can find a selection of our favorite places in Porto.

Foz do Minho, Caminha

Next to Foz do Minho, in the Camarido pine forest, north of Moledo do Minho. On one side is Portugal, on the other is Spain.

Praia das Pedrinhas (Apúlia/Ofir)

It is located between the beaches of Ofir and Apúlia, in the municipality of Esposende. Access can be made through a wooden walkway, which crosses the pine forest, a few meters north of the Pacha nightclub.

Praia da Estela (Vila do Conde)

One of the main nudist beaches in the North of Portugal

Praia do Furadouro, Ovar

It is located north of the well-known Furadouro beach, in Ovar, Aveiro district. It is a gay beach with a practice of nudism. In the center of Furadouro, there are bars and cafes facing the sea.

Praia do Palheirão, Mira

Located between Tocha and Mira, Palheirão Beach has an area of almost five kilometers. Besides being known for the practice of nudism, some LGBT people use to go there. It’s a well-kept secret.
